Payright today announced two significant partnerships with major retail connectors and buying groups, Leading Edge Group and Homemakers Furniture. The brands have teamed up with Payright to bring the payment platform to their independent retailer networks. Under the new partnership, Leading Edge Group retailers and Homemakers Furniture stores around Australia will now be able to offer their customers the option to buy now, pay later through Payright.

Research commissioned by Payright revealed homewares / furniture / whitegoods (45%) and electronics (43%) were the most popular categories participants would consider using a buy now, pay later service for in the future. Recent figures released from Payright’s database also showed home improvement as one of the top three merchant categories most popular among its Australian customer base. This supports the need for consumers to divide costs into smaller, more manageable instalments to fit within their budgets.

Piers Redward, co-founder and joint CEO of Payright, said, “We are thrilled to have Leading Edge Group and Homemakers Furniture join the Payright platform. It is great to collaborate with such well-respected and established businesses, and substantiates the strength of the Payright model. We see Payright as a model that will only continue to strengthen and these partnerships signal our next major phase of growth.”
